The African beaded head
The African beaded head is made of Clay and beads and was entirely handmade by artisans in Cameroon. Inspired by the ancient Nigerian Ife heads celebrating their Gods, it is completely decorated in African traditional beads and was used as home decor. It can be stated as a modern version of the original bronze head sculptures of Benin’s (Oba) ruler during the 16th century. We found it in Saint-Louis.
